About Jebel Jais
Jebel Jais is the highest road in the UAE, in Ras Al Khaimah’s Hajar Mountains. Official visitor info, zipline and viewing-deck operations: jebeljais.ae. The mountain is cooler and windier than the coast; fog closes the upper road on some winter days.
Getting there
Self-drive from RAK City or Dubai (roughly 90–120 minutes to the lower mountain). No Metro. Coaches to RAK plus a taxi are possible but clumsy for sunset. The zipline is a separate paid product with weight and weather limits.
Safety
