About Al Ain Oasis
Al Ain Oasis is the UNESCO-listed palm oasis in the garden city of Al Ain (Abu Dhabi emirate). Visit Abu Dhabi describes the falaj irrigation walks, shaded lanes and a visitor centre — this is not a Dubai lawn park and not Jebel Hafeet.
Getting to Al Ain
Highway from Dubai (about 90–120 minutes) or from Abu Dhabi city. No Metro. Intercity buses reach Al Ain bus station; taxis cover the oasis gates. Combine with Al Ain Zoo, Al Jahili Fort or Jebel Hafeet only if you start early — these are spread out.
On the ground
Wear modest clothes and walking shoes. Summer midday is severe under the palms too. Entry policies are published by DCT / Visit Abu Dhabi; do not assume it is an unfenced public forest. Stay on marked falaj paths.
