About Safa Park

Safa Park is the large municipal lawn between Al Wasl and Sheikh Zayed Road — the park Dubai residents actually picnic in, with a lake, running loop and a gate fee typical of Dubai Municipality parks. Visit Dubai and DM list opening hours that close at night; this is not a 24-hour boulevard pocket park.

Metro and gates

Financial Centre or Business Bay Metro plus a taxi, or buses on Al Wasl Road, beat walking from Downtown in August. Several gates exist; the SZR-facing side feels different from the Jumeirah villa side. Bring the municipal ticket QR or card the gate currently uses.

Rules that surprise visitors

Bicycles, dogs and barbecues follow posted signs — they are not automatically allowed on every lawn. Fridays fill with families. Combine with City Walk or BoxPark if you want cafés after the park, not inside it.

Safa Park is in Al Wasl (Al Wasl / SZR edge, Dubai). Use the transport box on this page for the nearest Dubai Metro or RTA bus, then check the live time in S’hail. Nol only — Dubai buses do not take cash. Do not walk a long last mile in summer heat.
